Refik Anadol has given Dataland a guide. On October 1 the museum launched an app made with @wearekanso, with live 3D maps, real-time information and RAIN, "an AI guide that answers your questions as you think of them." Anadol called it "Dataland's first fully agentic AI museum app" and said the museum has "hosted more than 50,000 people." Dataland opened on June 20, 2026 at Frank Gehry's The Grand LA, with the inaugural exhibition Machine Dreams: Rainforest on view through January 31, 2027.

The app caps a busy month. On September 17 he was named to the 2026 TIME100 Art list as the "Artist of the AI age," with TIME noting that Dataland's opening show "changes in real time based on visitors' movements, as well as their biometric data." At Meta Connect on September 24 he presented Nature Dreams: Muse, which he described as "a very first realtime artwork created with Muse neural engine," made with Meta and PyTorch engineers.

He is also returning to an early collection. On October 4 he announced that Machine Hallucinations: Coral Dreams, one of the studio's OG collections, "is getting an epic Burn project," and pointed holders to the studio's Discord for next steps.
